OMG, well my boys have started me on a new quest. Monstor Quest 2, and yes I am addicted. I love this game. I enjoy playing it on the PSP, and the funniest thing is that one of my boys loves questing along with me on his PSP. I would not have thought that in a million years, I would be playing video games with my adult children, and that they and I would actually be looking foward to getting home in the evening and playing together, but it feels good!
If you try this gave you will also get addictied, it is so much fun killing monters, gathering herbs, making potions, mining, and completing quests. I enjoy my pig pet, my kitchen cat staff, my books that I can read, keeping my farm growing, and updating all my weapons, and armor gear. You have got to try this game, it is also a GREAT stress reliever.

wondering if the company, Bilizzard that invented World of War Craft could not come up with something for us parents to be able to send an immediate message to our kids or adults who love playing this game. They could come up with something that would allow us parents or anyone go through the Blizzard website, and with some kind of password we could log in and send an IM to our kids or adults for something like an emergency, a hello, a chore, or maybe the weather channel advising of bad weather coming their way. My kids don?t watch TV anymore, they play WOW, read, eat, go to class, or sleep. I was just wondering that this would be a good jester for us to be able to contact our addicted WOW loved ones.
Now I don?t know much about this game other than what I see when the boys are playing, but there is so much activities going on when they are playing that I don?t know how they type to communicate with each other. The game has a fetcher called VENT so that the player can talk to each other during their raids, but we are on wireless, and it is so slow that the boys can?t get on VENT, so they type everything out. I sure like to hear them keys going 90 to nothing, because I know that if they get a job where typing is needed they sure can do that. They enjoy playing and I enjoy making them happy.

Man I HATE addictions! I started working on one small easy plastic model car, and from there I was caught ?hook, line, and sinker!?
Now I hide my finished models in the closet, 11 and counting. I have seems like TONS of paints in a box on the floor of my living room. I started only buying enough paints to finish the first model car, and now I am so knowledgeable about Enamels, Acrylics, Lacquers and Varnishes not to mention learning the hard way the kinds of thinners and removers each of those kinds of colors needs to thin them out and REMOVE them that I could blog on noting but paints and paint thinners, man was that a chore!
My work area is right on the floor in front of my sofa, because, well, I was only going to work on one car, now there is no other place in the house big enough to put all my stuff. One of the biggest problems that I had on my first car was trying to keep the windshield clean from glue. I am an amateur, what do you expect? My paint jobs were not coming out as smooth as I wanted, either, and I didn?t know what I was doing wrong. What I eventually started doing was using primer on the car parts before I painted them, and sanding most of the big car parts between each coat of the primer. I also bought some filler, so that if the model has any holes, or I made any holes in the model when I separated the pieces from the gate, I could fill them in, and sand them down.
Now my models are looking real good. If I only could go slower, so that I don?t break any of those teeny tiny pieces with my big clumsy fingers I would be just fine.

My youngest son was 5 yrs old, and our dog had some puppies that were now grown dogs, about 7 of them.
They were running amuck, and killing the neighbor?s chickens, so I put them in a pen before we got in trouble with the law enforcement. We might have to pay for those chickens, and who know how much that could be. Those stupid dogs kept getting out of the pen; I would pin them up, and they would escape over and over again, those darn dogs were so smart.
On this pretty day my kids and I had to go into town, but had to pin up the dogs before we left, so that they would not eat the neighbors chicken. I ran them allllll down, run around the yard, in the bushes, and around cars etc?, and sealed up the dog pin. On the drive to town, I wanted to have conversation with my kids, so I asked them for their opinion regarding the dogs, and if they would escape this time. My youngest said, "They are going to get out," I in turn told him, "well I don't know, I really sealed up the pin real good this time, I don't think that they will get out now."
My youngest son said, while looking out the back window with a look of wisdom on his face, "well, I think they will get out, my brain is new and yours is old and I think I am right." I just looked at him, and had to laugh. Well, we do tell our kids that new things are better. :-)

I found this on: http://www.ktbb.com/youtellme/2007/10/02/es-tiempo-aprender-ingles-its-time-to-learn-english/#comment-513 and had to respond!

To this statement of ONE ignorant person:
?Honest to goodness, if you?re in middle school in Tyler, Texas and you need a sign in Spanish to tell you that progress reports are coming out, how much progress are you really making??
I say, not everyone that speaks Spanish and does not understand English has been here long enough to know all our language, some have not been here very long, legal and illegal. Do not speak neg of the school system that wants to communicate a message they feel is import with the majority of their parents.
This statement:
?Not fluent in English? Don?t expect to be a doctor, lawyer, accountant, banker or insurance salesman.?
Is not necessarily true, have you been to the doctor, hospital, or some stores lately, the ATTITUDE of ?English is the language of success in America and around the world. It is the lingua franca of commerce everywhere on the planet.? Is an AMERICAN privilege attitude, and ?If you couldn?t speak English, you couldn?t get a job. No job - no food.? I know some legal and illegal residents that have bigger homes, better cars, and live in better neighborhoods than I do!
To say:
?Don?t expect investors to fall all over themselves to provide capital for the business you are wanting to start. Same thing for the loan officer from whom you would like to borrow money.?
Well this may be true to SOME extent, but not to the fact of spending money! The investors, or loan officer may not allow you to BORROW any money; however, which one of the two or millions will not take your money, no matter which language you SPEAK?
THERE IS ONLY ONE TYPE OF PREJUDICE, and it is do you have enough GREEN or not!
When you say:
?And they are American through and through. ?We are a nation of immigrants,? is not a phrase that pertains to people from Mexico who want the opportunity and freedom of America without the attendant costs and responsibilities. It does not pertain to those who want to transplant their native country (Mexico) to American soil, absorbing none of the history, traditions, customs - and language - of the fabulously free and opportunity-rich country to which they have made the choice to immigrate.?
It is said with such hate, or prejudice, there are many MEXICAN Americans that are legal, came here legally, and are now USA citizens that are PROUD of our USA. Many take ALL the responsibilities that come with that title. The HISTORY, TRADITIONS, AND CUSTOMS of America are also the Mexican ones, READ! that you and people like you so just want you did and clump them together. You and some like you forget that American Indians and yes MEXICANS were here in the good old USA before you!
I am 1st generation American and my children are 2nd generation we are VERY American and love this country. I believe that this is the best country in the world, because of it?s tolerance of MOST to allow people to be themselves and embrace all humans with all their differences. On the statue of liberty does it not states:
"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Emma Lazarus (1849-1887)
Where does it say, UNLESS you can?t speak English, or ONLY if your educated, or ONLY if your not from MEXICO, or ONLY if you don?t take my job, or go to school with my child.
I believe THIS is the GREATEST country in the world, and WE should take everyone. In AMERICA, we fight and love people who fight. I believe if you can make it here to dry ground, then you can stay. So talk to your Government officials about keeping people out.
This is AMERICA, and if you fought to get here, then why should you not be able to stay in this country ?land of opportunity?? MEANS ?land of opportunity??

Man, I want Archuleta to win! I hope Jason is not gone this week, I like him.
OH, did you see who got kicked OFF! Yes, Yes, Yes my two favorites are still left.
WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN THIS WEEK?
I did not like Brooke, so I am glad she is gone, gone, baby gone. She was to much of a loon, she did not sing good, and was always on the piano, like she thought she was Atlantis Morset (if I spelled that right).
Now I can't wait to see what next weeks show songs will be. I wish they would have less Seacrest time and more singing time, I love to hear the Idols left singing their songs.
Idol, Idol, Idol, I love it!
I love to listen to good singers, and man do I love little David Archuleta he is so young and can sing with such an old soul. Last week he sang a Mariah Carrie song and OMG was it awesome! If you missed it you need to hear it on Idol.com, but you can also buy it on itunes.
That Jason Castro with the dreads is good as well. Jason is so young, but he has such a unique style that I am so glad that he continued in the competition, that way I can continue to see what all he can do or how far he will go. I will continue to vote for him because as far as I am concerned the last two left should be Archuleta and him.
I just love this show; FOX is a genius! If you had asked me in January and ask me again now, I will tell you then and now that this is the BEST Idol year eve
r. !
Now the girls are a different story, the only girl I like is Carly Smithson, man can she sing. She has such range, and I can?t wait until she sales more music on itunes.
I hope, cross my fingers, and of course vote that my three favorite make it to the end. When that time comes, it will be hard for me to choose who will be my second choice between Carly and Jason, because Archuleta of course is my first pick.

Oh, do not let me forget to remind you; do not forget about voting, because your favorite might be booted if you do not!
